Coastal Warming: MV Loggers

CAOLAS supports the deployment and monitoring of marine temperature loggers across the Loch Sunart to the Sound of Jura region as part of the wider Coastal Warming initiative.

These loggers collect long-term sea temperature data, helping track climate-driven changes in our coastal waters and contributing to an Atlantic Ocean- wide science network consisting of over 3000 loggers across hundreds of sites.

Local volunteers assist with installation, retrieval, and maintenance of loggers, building capacity for climate monitoring within our communities.
