Serpulid Reef Surveys

This specialist underwater survey focused on the nationally significant reef-building worm Serpula vermicularis in Loch Teacuis.

These fragile biogenic reefs are rare and highly sensitive habitats. The project collected habitat and visual survey data to raise awareness and support long-term protection within the MPA.
